Marketplace
How the Sailio marketplace works
Sailio lists verified charter operators, collects guest payments through iyzico, and pays operators their net share.

Who does what
Three parties, one contract chain. Sailio runs the marketplace, the operator delivers the charter, the guest books and sails.
Sailio
Verifies the operator company and the boat documents, then publishes the boat on sailio.co.
Operator (seller / sub-merchant)
Supplies boat details, prices, calendar and documents, and keeps them up to date.
Guest (buyer)
Searches, compares and opens a reservation request on the listing.
Sailio
Collects the guest payment in Turkish lira on Sailio's own iyzico account.
Operator (seller / sub-merchant)
Does not take payment from the guest; the amount is settled from Sailio's collection.
Guest (buyer)
Pays by card on the iyzico payment page with 3D Secure.
Sailio
Creates the booking, tracks its status and notifies both sides.
Operator (seller / sub-merchant)
Approves the request from the operator panel; when a request arrives by phone, the Sailio team records the operator's decision.
Guest (buyer)
Receives the booking confirmation and the booking details by e-mail.
Sailio
Applies the published cancellation policy and runs the refund through iyzico.
Operator (seller / sub-merchant)
Does not refund the guest directly; the refund runs through Sailio.
Guest (buyer)
Requests cancellation from the bookings page or through support.
Seller (sub-merchant) registration and verification
Every operator goes through the same six steps before a boat can be booked.
- 1
Application
The operator fills in the form at partners.sailio.co with company name, contact person, e-mail, phone, country, city, website, fleet size and fleet types, and gives KVKK consent.
- 2
Review and document check
The Sailio team reviews the application and checks the company identity (legal name, tax number, registered address, city, country) and the boat documents.
Boat documents we check
- Tourism Operation Certificate
- Commercial Yacht Registry
- Seaworthiness Certificate
- P&I Insurance Policy
- 3
Contract
The marketplace contract is signed; the commercial terms and the commission rate are set in the contract.
- 4
Panel invitation
Approval creates the operator record and the first operator user. Sailio sends an invitation e-mail with a password-set link; no password is ever e-mailed to the operator.
- 5
Boat assignment
The Sailio team assigns the operator's boats to the account; the boats and their reservations then appear in the operator panel.
- 6
Account activation
The operator confirms activation in the panel and the account becomes active.

Payment flow
The guest payment is collected by the marketplace, and the booking is created only after the payment succeeds.
- 1
Reservation request
The guest sends a reservation request for the boat and the dates.
- 2
Operator confirmation
The operator approves the request; a decision taken by phone is recorded by the Sailio team.
- 3
Payment page
iyzico's hosted payment form opens with 3D Secure; the card is entered on iyzico's page, not on a Sailio page.
- 4
Collection in TRY
The amount is charged in Turkish lira, the only currency enabled on Sailio's iyzico account, and the booking becomes confirmed.
Card data
Sailio stores no card data. The card is tokenized on iyzico's side; Sailio keeps only the payment status, the amount and the payment reference.
Commission and payouts
Sailio collects the full guest payment and pays the operator its net share.
Sale amount
the amount collected from the guest
Platform commission
the rate set in the contract
Operator net payout
the amount transferred to the operator
Every paid booking creates a payout record that carries the operator's net amount, the amount collected from the guest, and the difference that stays with the platform.
Payout records are consolidated into one batch and transferred to the bank account (IBAN) the operator has registered. The payout status is visible per reservation in the operator panel.
Commission rate
The commission rate is set in the marketplace contract and is not published on this page.
Cancellation and refund
The published cancellation policy applies to every booking on Sailio.
More than 7 days before the booking date

Applicant and guest data is processed under KVKK. See the KVKK clarification text and the privacy policy for details.
Frequently asked questions
Does Sailio collect the payment, or does the operator?
Sailio collects it. Guest payments are taken in Turkish lira on Sailio's iyzico account, and the operator's net payout is transferred to its registered bank account.
Is my card stored by Sailio?
No. The card is entered on iyzico's 3D Secure page and tokenized there. Sailio stores no card data.
How does a charter company sell on Sailio?
It applies at partners.sailio.co. After the application is reviewed, the company and boat documents are checked, the contract is signed, and the operator is invited to the panel.
How is the operator's payout calculated?
The platform commission is deducted from the sale amount and the operator's net payout remains. The commission rate is set in the contract, and each booking creates its own payout record.
What happens if a guest cancels?
The published cancellation policy applies: full refund more than 7 days before the booking, 50% between 3 and 7 days, and no refund less than 3 days before. Refunds run through iyzico.
